He is survived by: his wife Colleen Brunsvold of Manassas; and his sons, Kenneth T. of Woodbridge and Thomas W. of Occoquan, VA..

Because of his strong ties to VMI, in lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made in his honor to the "VMI Foundation, Kenneth T. Brunsvold 64 Scholarship" at P.O. Box 932, Lexington, VA, 24450.
