He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Cake and Doris Jenkins; his wife Myra Cake; his pet Gigi; his brothers, Foster Sheehan (Bart), David Sheehan (Elliot), Bryan Cake and Jeffrey Cake; and his grandchildren, Kathleen Austin McKeever, Michael Austin, Donald Cake and Spencer Cake. He was also cherished by extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Christ (13130 Hillendale Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22193).
