She was predeceased by: her husband Foster Ed Jones; her parents, Gladys Kester and Staley Oscar Osborne; and her siblings, Virginia O. Ackerman and David Osborne.

She is survived by: her children, Stewart Jones (Patricia) of Norcross, GA and Courtney Jones of Dumfries, VA; and her grandchildren, Sherissa Reed, Xavier Reed, Matthew Jones, Jordan Reed and Madeline Jones.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Paul UMC.
