With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine Dawson Soliven of Woodbridge, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Dawson and Soledad Dawson; her siblings, Louis "Bob" Dawson, Atty Benjamin "Ben" Dawson, Dr. Ernesto "Ernie" Dawson and Esther Cudilla; and her nephews, Anthony Cudilla and Ralph Cudilla.
She is survived by: her husband Eduardo Soliven; her children, Christine, Joseph Bezelik, Edward, Janice Soliven and Kate Soliven; and her grandchildren, Violet Bezelik, Sydney Bezelik, Edward Soliven, Jonathan Soliven and Josselyn Soliven.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (3200 Golansky Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22192). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:20 AM at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton (12805 Valleywood Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22192). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
