He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerald Saggers and Frances Saggers (Wydgraaf); his sister Kathy Joy Brouwer; and his nephew Scott Bower. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann Saggers; his children, Casey Hughes (Donald), Christopher Saggers (Dawn) and Andrew Saggers; his grandchildren, Cherokee Saggers, Christopher Saggers Jr., Aubrey Saggers and Graham Hughes; his nieces, Sally Gutknecht (Tom), Alexis Sather (Richard) and Jenny Wheler (Jim); and his nephew Morgan Roberts (Erica).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (3200 Golansky Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22192). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
In lieu of flowers, the Saggers family ask that you donate to the National Capital Area Council, in support of Boy Scouts of America.
