He is survived by: his mother Mary Simpson; his wife Cindy Freeland-Simpson; his children, Jason Simpson, Justin Simpson, Misty Simpson and Lindsay Erbe; his stepdaughter Bridgett Freeland; his grandchildren, Tyler Simpson, Devin Simpson, Brennan Simpson, Kayden Jackson and Aliyah Jackson; his stepgrandchildren, Logan Whitaker, Leonard Gaskins, Lennoxx Gaskins and Lathius Gaskins; and his siblings, Paul Simpson, Michael Simpson, David Simpson, Anne Briscoe, Joanie Lightner, Mary-Pat Stocks and Carol El-Bisi.
