He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Strohl and Frances Strohl. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his stepson Douglas Phillips Sr.; his stepgrandsons, Douglas Phillips Jr. (Natalia) and Corey Phillips (Veronica); his great grandchildren, Sophia and Cameron; and his half-sisters, Lynne Peterson and Sally Moore.
