It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank T. Read of Woodbridge, Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Archie Read and Fay Melrose Thompson; and his great grandchild Elijah Jones. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Pinkney; his children, John Read (Diane), Richard Read (Kathleen), Tomasin Grundvig (Jeffrey Grundvig) of Loveland, CO, Jefferson Read (Bianca) and David Read (Barbara); and his stepsons, Ian Sheardwright (Melissa Sheardwright) of Storrs, CT and Justin Sheard (Nanette). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
