He was predeceased by: his mother Susanna Pfautz (Kathleen); his grandparents, Emma Pfautz and Henry; his stepson Walter John Barricklow; his grandson John Richard Barricklow; and his sons-in-law, John Gerald Land and Jeffrey Spearin.
He is survived by: his aunt Anna Pfautz; his uncle Christian Pfautz; his former wife Kathleen Barricklow (Dougan); his wife Joyce Vikingson (Barnes); his children, Beth of Springfield, VA, Erik, LouAnn of Portland, OR, Katrina (Greenbelt, MD) and Heidi of Limington, ME; his grandchildren, Janet, Tracey, Kelley, Kasey, Jacob, Claire, Matthew and Joshua; his friend Tom Bower; and also Kathie. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and, four great-great grandchildren.
