He is survived by: his wife Melisha Darnell; his children, Whitney Carson Darnell of Blacksburg, VA, William Christopher Darnell (Adara) of Wise, VA and Courtnie Lawson (George); his grandchildren, Hannah and Ellis of Jonesville, VA; his sisters, Angelina Roberta Fitzgerald, Big, Patricia Ann Sutton of Kentucky, Geneva Cecile Ramsey (Tim) and Mona Lisa Thacker; and his sister-in-law Brenda Darnell of Norton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
