He is survived by: his wife Diane Elam; his sister Lora Williams (Roger); his children, Renee Midgett (Roland), Lucas Elam (Tessa) and Cheyenne Birse (Chuck); and his grandchildren, Loran, Isaac, Ethan, Ella, Warrick and Mila. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
