He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Bolt and Mae Helen Bolt; his sisters, Deborah J. Oliver, Patsy Ann McClendon and Brenda Jane Bolt; and his son Loyd Paul Bolt.

He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Bolt Walton (Craig) of Apex, Ronald Christopher Bolt (Tabetha) of Acworth, Georgia, Matthew Bolt (Nichole) of Daphne, Brian Mullins (Emily) of Norton and Jason Mullins (Amber) of Wise, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Colin, Sloan Walton, Nikki, Sophia, Landin, Dylan, Marissa, Ainsley, Brennan, Ashton Bolt, Brady, Brant and Parker Mullins. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
