He was predeceased by: his mother Nannie Dale Bates; and his brothers, Franklin L. Dale and Billy Wayne Dale. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Dale (Micky); his sons, Steven Vincent Dale (Christy) and Adrian Shane Dale (Melody); his grandsons, Jeremy Vincent Dale, Wyatt Jackson Dale and Elijah Scott Lovell; and his brother Jack Tolbert, Jr. (Marsha). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A procession will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:40 AM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wise Cemetery (201 Church St NW, Wise, VA 24293).
In Lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital P.O. Box 50, Memphis TN 38101-9929.
