He was predeceased by: his wife Effie Sue Harding. He is survived by: his friend Mark Kelly; his daughters, Shannon Price (Tommy) of Clearwater, FL and Adena Laney (Earl) of Wise, VA; his grandchildren, Emily Kaitlyn Laney (Joseph Ghammashi) and Ashton James-Lee Laney (Mallory); his siblings, Steve Harding (Christina), Gary Harding (Michelle) and Theresa Tackett of Wise, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Fleming of Sherwood, Ohio and Harold Baldwin of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Harding Family Cemetery.
