Margaret Prater Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Prater of Wise, Virginia, who passed away on December 29, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dickie" Prater; her grandson Travis Sturgill; her parents, Tate Fugate and Pearl Fugate; and her siblings, Reva Wright, Dorothy Elam, Leda Dale, Tiny Strouth Baker and William "Bill" Fugate.
She is survived by: her children, Ronny Prater and Patty Sturgill (Randy); her grandson Toby Sturgill (Tammy); her great grandchildren, Nick Sturgill (Jessica), Morganne Helbert (Hunter), Eden Sturgill, Steven Bowen, Emily Sturgill, Abi Sturgill and Izzy Sturgill; and her great great grandchildren, Jackson Sturgill, Grayson Sturgill and Baby Helbert. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
