He was predeceased by: his father Donald Hibbitts; his grandmothers, Trilby Hibbitts and Etta Hall; his parents-in-law, Claude and Madeline Mullins; and his sister-in-law Betty Lee Stipes.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hibbitts; his daughter Chesleigh Hibbitts; his mother Irene Hibbitts; his aunts, Eula Lawson and Katherine Hall; his brother Billy; his sister-in-law Lois Hibbitts; his sister Rhonda; his siblings-in-law, Cecil Collins, Jim, Becky Mullins and Kenneth Stipes; his nieces and nephews, Carla Lape (Patrick Carter), Leslie, David Villanueva, Roger, Jenny Mullins, Stephanie, David Amos, Marcie Mullins, Mia Villanueva, Alexis Mullins, Owen Amos, Eliza Amos, Anna Mullins and Laycie Amos; his pet Strider; and his close friends, Fred Strouth, Dalton Strouth, Allen Graham, Chris Graham, Robert Owens, Clyde Owens, Pete Thacker and Gary Bevins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293).
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hubbard's Chapel Youth Group, 9540 Bold Camp Road, Pound, VA 24279.
