He is survived by: his wife Wilma Ruth Mefford of Norton; his children, Wayne Mefford (Cindy) of Wise, Juanita Ring (Brice) of Castlewood, Robin McCarthy of Wise and Michele Stapleton of Wise; and his siblings, Christine Hawkins of Wise, Priscilla Earnest of Castlewood and Archie Carroll Mefford of Wise. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
