He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Davis and Rosalee Smith Davis; and his siblings, Gary Davis, Judy Brummitt and Betty Powers.

He is survived by: his children, Freddie Adams Jr. (Melissa), Nikki Gibson, Leann Davis and Jessica Davis; and his siblings, Bobby Davis, Jeffery Davis and Margo Short. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
