He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Bond Hughes of Wise, Virginia; his children, Jennifer England (Robert), Jill Jessee (Dwight) and James Hughes (Amanda); and his siblings, Phyllis Culbertson (Allen) of Norton, Sandy Ayala (Larry) of Brandon, Florida, Mike Hughes (Alice) of Wise, Greg Hughes (Robin) of Riverview and Tony Hughes (Nicole) of Clarkrange.
