He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Diane Elliott; his grandson Ian Scott Elliott; his siblings, Donald Blake Elliott (Katherine) of Oxford, AL and Julie Ruth Elliott Short (Monty); his stepmother Faye Sams Elliott; his stepsiblings, Jeff Sams and Amanda Sams Kilgore; his close friend Linda Hurd; and his nieces and nephews, Donald Blake, Jr., Tyson (Ashley Elliott), Brian Short, Megan Short Fannon, Caitlin (Kelsie Williams) and Benjamin (Kristina Elliott). He is also survived by cousins and friends.
