She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Thompson and Felton Thompson; and her siblings, Thomas Thompson, Patty Hibbits, Norma Adkins, Shirley West, Janice Taylor and Deborah Salyers.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Parks; her children, Billy Parks, Jr. and Nicole Wells (Anthony); her grandchildren, Corey Parks, Sarah Wells, Katelynn Parks and Colton Wells; her great grandchildren, Harper Parks and Owen Parks; and her sister Sharon Evans. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A committal service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:40 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Beverly Cemetery (201 Church St NW, Wise, VA 24293).
