We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2024, Dennis F. Mullins Sr. (Wise, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hansford Mullins and Edith Mullins; his siblings, Jerry Mullins and Mary "Bay" Mullins Hamm; and his niece Candace Rakes.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Potter; his children, Dennis Farrell Mullins, Jr. (Alexis) of Roanoke, Melissa Francine Roberts (Missy) and Mark of Roanoke; his stepchildren, Slade Potter (Laura) of Pound and Lauren Isbell (Cody) of Mooresburg, TN; his grandchildren, Hallee Mullins Armstrong (Travis), Shane Roberts, Declan Mullins, Rylan Mullins, Adrianne Potter and Malcolm Potter; his great grandchildren, Ellie Raye Bowyer and Murray Armstrong; and his siblings, Paul Phipps (Mae) of Florida, Randy Mullins (Brenda), Michael Mullins (Jeanne) of Wise, Annette Phipps Underwood (Sissy) of Wise, Virginia Mullins Baker of Wise, Teresa Mullins Wendle (Bill) of Wise and Jennifer Mullins Hibbitts (Paul) of Wise. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lighthouse Family Worship Center (145 Lake St NW, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 12:30 PM. A committal service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Wise Cemetery (201 Church St NW, Wise, VA 24293).
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
