Clinton Fletcher Dean Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2023, Clinton Fletcher Dean (Wise, Virginia), born in Corbin, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Jean Dean (Mullins); his son Charles Jonathon Dean; his parents, William A. Dean and Myrtle Dean (Wyatt); and his siblings, Delores Leonard (Toddy), Christine Davidson, Freddie Bays, Billie Fulton, William Dean (Dub), Raymond J Dean (Gentle), Teddy Dean, Jerry Dean and Larry Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Chris McKnight (James) of Wise and Fletcher Dean (Jane Meade-Dean) of Midland, Mich.; his grandchildren, Will Dean, Taylor Dean and Maggie Dean; his sisters, Jo Ann Stewart and Lonza Keene; and his caregiver Pete. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider an "in memory of" donation to The James Taylor Adams Scholarship Award in Writing at the University of Virginia's College at Wise (1 College Ave, Wise, Va. 24293). Donations could alternatively be made to the Southwest Virginia Cancer Center in Norton to support the wonderful work they do.
