She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Gibson and Druecilla Gibson; and her brother Bernus Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Diane Brooks (Josh) of Wise, VA and Nathan Brooks (Lauren) of Wise, VA; her siblings, Peggy Ann Sexton (Wilson Kanoy) of Lexington Park, MD and Ellis Gibson (Debbie) of Hollywood, MD; her grandchildren, Isaiah Kinser, Hannah, Abigail Kinser, Blake Brooks and Griffin Brooks; her mother-in-law Lorene Brooks of Sandusky, OH; her aunt Hazel Sexton; and her pet Tucker. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family, friends.
