He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Louis Bayer, Sr. and Hazel Dean Bayer. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Bayer; his sons, Paul Bayer and Mark Bayer; his brother Allen Bayer; and his pet Teddy. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
His family suggest memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Martinsville Chapter, 1079 C Spruce Street, Martinsville, Va. 24112.
