He is survived by: his wife Lena Mae Bayer; his children, Teresa Flora (Stephen), Curtis Bayer (Lera), Bonita Bowerman (LeRoy), Cecil Bayer (Brandi), Kevin Bayer (Faith), Rachel Bayer and Emma Lou Hege (David); his sisters, Nora Boone, Frances King, Julia Hess and Esther Bayer; and his sisters-in-law, Eunice Austin Wilt and Dora Austin. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
