He is survived by: his wife Suzanna; his children, Olivia, Logan and Caleb; his parents, Joel Sims and Suzanne Sims; his siblings, Kevin, Joseph and Melissa; and his grandmother Irene.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Franklin Heights Crosspointe Church (201 Burnt Chimney Rd, Wirtz, VA 24184).
