He is survived by: his great-niece Ava; his close friend Van Starkey of Wirtz, VA; his daughters, Latoya Richardson (James) of Augusta, GA and Brandi Carter (Ty) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Tmeya Mercer (Nicholas) of Lawrenceville, GA and Jaylon Gamble of Augusta, GA; his great grandchild PJ Mercer; his siblings, Lisa Wells of Bassett, VA, Vanessa Dillard of Bassett, VA, Theressia Manns (Hue) of Bassett, VA, Paul Wimbush of Axton, VA, Johnny Wells of Bassett, VA, Greg Woods and Gary Woods of New Jersey; and his aunts and uncles, Dorothy Wells, Virginia Hairston, Junior Wimbush, James "Scooter" Wimbush and Clifford Wimbush. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
