He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry James Adams and Thelma Trent Adams; his brothers, Donnie Adams and Dicky Adams; and his stepdaughter Wanda Burnley Stinson.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Burnley Adams; his sons, Troy Randale Adams of Concord and Timothy Ray Adams of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Tyler Adams, Dustin Adams and Cameron Adams; his brother Jerry Roberts Adams; his stepchildren, Brenda Burnley Childress, Becky Lee Burnley, Diane Burnley McCormick (Richard Keith) and Wayne Thomas Burnley; and his stepson-in-law Kirby Lewis Stinson, Jr.. He is also survived by nine step grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
