She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Galbreath and Edna Taylor Locust; her husband Robert O. Whitley; and her siblings, Tommy Galbreath, Peggy Rollan and Louise Hawk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Clements (Michael) and Billie W. Bradley; her sisters, Iris Vannoy, Linda Chandler and Laura Chapman; her grandchildren, Spring Marie Rock (Jason), Cassie Whitley Sightler (Ronnie), Aaron Clements (Brandy) and Leslee Rogerson (Bobby); and her great grandchildren, Avery Rock, Ronnie Dean Sightler III and Leo Clements. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery N Main.
