Karen Johnson wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Baxter Family Members: Ray has provided me with many thought provoking and cherished exchanges over the years we have known each other. I sincerely add my deepest feelings to your loss and share the pain that you feel at this time. He was clearly a one of a kind who leaves a vacuum in the world of those who knew and loved him. We spent many days and hours while at Mt. Home just trying to outsmart a few trout. Those memories will last as long as I do. Love to all of you. Kal J.”
