With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis Carson Bruckse of Windsor, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Lee and Helen Louise Britton Carson; her husband Richard "Dickie" Nicholas Bruckse; her grandson Steven Christopher Weight; and her sisters, Hazel C. Phelps and Linda C. White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Victoria B Weight (Jason) and Becke B "Buck" West (Johnny); her grandchildren, Corey Weight, Joshua West (Kriston) and Brittany W Howell (Nick); her great grandchildren, Harley Howell, Grady, Blakely West, Weston and Lillian Howell; her brother Jimmy Carson (Carolyn); and her close friends, Helen Saunders, Lee Ann Hinton and Cindy Patrick. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
