He was predeceased by: his parent Russell Owen Matthews; and his daughter Sara Whitley Matthews. He is survived by: his parent Shirley Frances Whitley Matthews; his daughters, Sammie Linde (Jonas) and Cicily Rose Matthews; his grandchildren, Braeden, Raymond and Kristoffer; his siblings, Carol Sue Matthews and Barry Matthews; his aunt Maggie; and his uncle Tommy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
