He was predeceased by: his parents, Benton Larson and Mary Larson; and his sister Vicky Larson. He is survived by: his children, Mary L. Alsaffar (Mohammed) and Christopher M. W. Larson; his grandchildren, Trystan and Ayden Alsaffar; his siblings, Stephanie Motzko, Lorie Larson, Steve Larson and Darrin Clark; his nieces, Catherine, Amy, Megan and Ashleen; and his adoptive daughter Journie Anello.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parr Funeral Home & Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
