He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clinton Griffin, Sr. and Elaine Butler Griffin; and his sister Carolyn E. Williams. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Holland Griffin; his children, Chris Griffin (Susan), Marie Barfield (Bruce), Cassandra Presson (Kevin), Heather Wray (Steve), Roni Picciuolo (Marie) and Craig Griffin; his grandchildren, Alaina, Thomas, Alanson, Violet, Elizabeth, Krystal, Casey, Ryan, Torri and Kendle; his great grandchildren, Eisha, James Joseph, Ryland, Kami, Avery, Emmett, Connor, Autumn and Parker; his brother Charles H. Griffin (Connie); and his brother-in-law Everette Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Parr Funeral Home & Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Windsor Congregational Christian Church (4 N Court St, Windsor, VA 23487). A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Windsor Cemetery (36 E Griffin St, Windsor, VA 23487).
