He is survived by: his parent Lydia Cofield; his wife Irma Mary Forbes Cofield of Hertford, NC; his siblings, Frances Abbot, John Cofield (Margaret) of Windsor Va and Richard Cofield (Cathy) of Old Fields; his children, Jodie Cofield (Cynthia) and Christine Willis (Greg); and his stepchildren, Edward Forbes (Rosa) and Ann Elliott.
