He is survived by: his children, Gary Devon Hewitt (Georgia) of Windsor and Denise Hewitt Spady (Frank) of Suffolk; his grandchildren, Christopher Devon Hewitt (Jessica) of Smithfield, Ryan David Hewitt (Lyndsey) of Windsor and Anne Barden Spady of Suffolk; his great grandchildren, Landon David Hewitt, Rylie Rose Hewitt, Brynn Elizabeth Hewitt and Isla Rae Hewitt; his sister Doris V. Hardee of Longs, SC; and his pet Charlie.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel. An entombment will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Twin City Memorial Gardens (1830 US-701 Hwy, Loris, SC 29569).
