He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Owens and Thurman Owens. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his sons, Clint Owens and Travis Howell (Danielle); his grandchildren, Grace and Chayden; and his sister Gina Griffin (Butch). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; family and friends.
