She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Morgan Williams and Harold Bandy Williams; and her husband Billy Poteat. She is survived by: her daughter Becky Poteat Acree (Garry) of Windsor, VA; and her grandsons, Jonathan Acree (Molly) of Chesapeake, VA and Tyler Acree of Hampton, VA..
