He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Brooks and Sadie Brooks; his wife Jacqueline Barnes Brooks; and his grandson Samuel Gust. He is survived by: his daughter Tanya Lynn Brooks Gust (Frederick R. Gust); his grandchildren, Brooks Gust (Laurie) and Jacob Gust (Clarissa); and his great grandchildren, Briana and Jacoby.
