She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Walden and Stanley Lane Gwaltney; her husband William Albert Gwaltney; her sister Edith Lane Bell; and her brother-in-law Chuck G. Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne G. Martz (Clay) of Frederick, MD, Susan G. Stephens of Williamsburg, VA, William A. Gwaltney (Becky) of Windsor and Jesse Lane Gwaltney (Melanie) of Windsor; her grandchildren, Megan Gilliland (Nick), Atlee Martz (Kelli), Gus Martz (Mackenzie), Ashley Smith (Charlie), Hollis Bridges (Bobby), Brett Bowie (Daniel), Katelyn Britt (Jack), Trent Gwaltney, Lane Stephens, James Stephens and Sarah Stephens; her sisters, Peggy A. Gwaltney, Nancy G. Gillette (Percy) and Linda G. Griffin; and her brother-in-law William A Bell. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
