It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann Byrd Edwards of Windsor, Virginia, who passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurley Holland Byrd, Sr. and Jennie Duke Byrd. She is survived by: her husband William "Sonny" Jonah Edwards, Jr.; her son William "Bill" J. Edwards, III; her daughter-in-law Mary Ann Edwards; and her grandchildren, Alex Christopher Edwards, Rhiannon Chloe Edwards and William J. Edwards IV. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
