She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Newsome of Suffolk, Felicia Artis of Suffolk, Travis Hayes of Georgia, Leon Hayes of Suffolk and Henry Bennett of Suffolk; her siblings, Shirley Adkins of Emporia, Elnora Chambliss of Suffolk, Paul Whitfield of Philadelphia, PA and Robert Whitfield of Philadelphia, PA; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Ann Covington and Herman Hayes. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
