He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Alfred and Merle Smith Patteson. He is survived by: his brother Charles "Butch" Patteson (Angelyn) of Moultrie, GA; his nephew Andrew Patteson (Jennifer); his great-nephews, Aiden and Jacob of Charlotte, NC; his niece Beth Rehberg; and his great-nephew Tucker of Jacksonville, FL.
