She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Dorsey and Zetta Smith Dorsey; and her husband James H. Merriner, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, John Wade Merriner (Mary) of Winchester, Jay Sherman Merriner (Becky) of Winchester and James Matthew Merriner (Laura) of Winchester; her grandchildren, Jay Jr. (Chestina), Jamie, Jeremy, Adam, Alex, Katie (Drew) and Carrie; and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Julia, Desiree, Nicole (Steven), Tabitha, Hannah, Tylar and Dylan. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren.
