She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Hardison and Virginia Hardison (Bartley); her husband Leonard Julian Layman; her children, Regina Layman, Curt J Layman, Timothy Layman (Maribel), Cynthia Villalon (Jorge), Christina Smith (Ron) and Rebecca Layman; her grandchildren, Tyler DeLisle (Cassie), Caitlin Villalon, Kendall Harris, Christopher Villalon, Ashley Layman and Amber Layman; and her brother Fred Hardison (Patricia). She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Winchester (205 W Piccadilly St, Winchester, VA 22601). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Mt. Comfort Cemetery (6600 S Kings Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306).
