He is survived by: his parents, Terry Scott Oates of Winchester and Angela Michele Buterakos of Winchester; his son Jude Patrick Oates; his stepmother Kista Oates of Winchester; his sister Adrienne Marie Hickerson of Winchester; his niece Aurora Skye Mathews; his stepsister Desirae Alisha Cooke (Sara Ritcher); his grandmothers, Margaret Oates and Janice Buterakos; his stepgrandmother Faye E. Hicks; and also Rachel Elizabeth Laycock. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
