She was predeceased by: her parents, David Franklin "Tink" and Mollie Delilah Buchanan (Batton); her spouse Dee Rudolph "Rudy" Crowell; and her siblings, Gracie Clements (Hugh), Flossie Hicks (Ferbie), Nancy Taylor (Mark), Farrar (Earl), Linda "Lindy" Schmitoe (Norman), Ludie Hedrick (Clayton), Rosie Buchanan, Goldie Claude (Thomas), Samuel Paul "Boots" Buchanan (Lillie), Herman Buchanan (Hilda), David Franklin "Pety" Buchanan, Jr. (Avis) and Dean Buchanan (Donna).
She is survived by: her son Gerald Crowell (Cheryl) of Winchester, VA; her grandson Nathan; and her brother Howard Delmas "Del" Buchanan (Pat) of Bartlett, TN. She is also survived by two great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
