With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ruby A. Williams of Winchester, Virginia, whose life came to an end on April 8, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence R. Shelburne and Opie Duncan Shelburne; her husband John H. Williams, Sr.; her children, Lillian Zuza, John H. Williams Jr. and Rena Virts; her siblings, Eunice Hovermale, Mary Endresano and Clarence Shelburne; and her granddaughter Kaylin Virts.
She is survived by: her son Chuck Williams (Cindy) of Bridgewater, VA; her brother Jim Shelburne (Jeanne) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Katie Zuza, Joseph Zuza (Erin), Edward Zuza (Irina), Brandon Williams (Brittany), Ryan Williams (Abby), Matthew Jayne, Daniel Virts, Thomas Virts, Johnny Virts and Cathy Virts; and her sisters, Martha Layden and Lilyan Williams. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home - Winchester (228 S Pleasant Valley Rd, Winchester, VA 22601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
