It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Marie Fletcher of Winchester, Virginia, born in Bloomery, West Virginia, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Kerns and Hilda Cowgill Kerns; her husband Raymond L. Fletcher; and her siblings, Alfred, Ralph, Carl "Buzz" Kerns and Ruth Weatherholtz.
She is survived by: her children, Gilbert L. "Gib" Fletcher of Winchester, VA, Timothy A. Fletcher (Rita) of Winchester, VA, Sharon M. Rexrode of Winchester, VA and Judy Watts of Inwood, WV; her siblings, Waldon "Diz" Kerns, Billy Kerns, Gary Kerns, Betty Manne, Janet Newlin, Patsy Kerns and Kathy Kerns; and her grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy, Jason, Cody, Davey, Nick, T. J. and Kaylynn. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
